my sister, bib, came over to new york for a couple of weeks. it was her first american trip, and it was great but sucked at the same time coz i hardly had time to spend with her! she came with a group of her friends, and they went around sight-seeing while i was in class, and i would join them at night and on the weekends.
yo, even though i wasn’t technically traveling around that much with them, it was tiring!! i was tired! all day at school and then trooping around with the tour gang = tough work.
here are some pictures that we/she/they took. perhaps i’ve been tired of new york… just quite sick of it. but it was refreshing to look at new york again through a visitor’s camera lens!
it’s a photo fest, but i hope you enjoy it!
instead of getting 2 cabs, they got a limo from the airport!
first limo ride and all i did was sleep.

I totally HAVE to go to NYC.
I’m glad you could spend some time with your sis. I can’t imagine being away from mine for more than 3 weeks (she’s in London right now and I miss her lots!).
Kisses!

i want to go back there, too! was there last week and was secretly hoping to bump into you
thanks for this post, it made me smile!!!
Must have been so nice for you, having yr sister visit all the way from Singapore! We used to live in NYC & got married in the German Lutheran Church in a very nice part of Chelsea. On Christmas Eve & it actually snowed that day.
Now we live in Tokyo, where I wish & wish that Amazon would ship my dream Brother sewing machine to Tokyo…but they won’t. Unlike you, I don’t speak Jaapnese so I long for an American model. Yes, I read your lovely story – the short & long version. Good for you!
Ahhh looks like your sister had a wonderful time!
These photos make me really want to go to NY! Hopefully next year !
Great pix. The limo one is priceless. Is that Sir Paul or John? Why can’t I tell? Odd…
